Lite e-Commerce

Welcome to the LITE side of life. Lite is a startup operating within Żabka Group that aims to shape the future of grocery shopping. Our q-commerce solutions are changing the way people think about grocery shopping. We have already launched successful q-commerce products such as JushApp and Delio. We are looking for a strong Backend engineer to expand our core development team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Shape the future of our backend ecosystem,
  • Handle exponentially growing traffic to our platform,
  • Be the part of new trend of Q-commerce,
  • Optimize and automate, wherever possible,
  • Grow with agile team - together tackling challenging problems,
  • Perhaps lead the specialized team when company grows.

We believe you should have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience on similar position,
  • Proficient with modern software development (NodeJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Git) and Typescript,
  • Comfortable with microservice architecture,
  • Solid understanding of performance implications and scalability of code,
  • Keenness for writing qualitative (not quantitative) tests, TDD,
  • Proactive approach to solving problems, ownership,
  • Communicative, eager to discuss and impact the decisions,
  • Comfortable with integrating different solutions,
  • Not afraid of new technologies nor responsibilities.


  • Previous E-Commerce experience is a huge plus,
  • Experience/understanding of CI/CD and Kubernetes,
  • Knowledge of cloud tech, especially GCP,
  • Familiarity of monitoring & alerting tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Sentry),
  • Basic knowledge of Terraform,
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline, alternatively equivalent in professional experience.
