So far, we have created two products in the Polish market. Jush, an app which allows you to order your favourite products and have them delivered in as little as 15 minutes from placing your order, and delio, available as an app and also in a browser version, an online supermarket with everything you need for yourself and your home. We are currently looking for an Engineering Lead, who will become Lite’s hero or heroine in the mission of technological development of the world! 🦸💙

🎯 Responsibilities:

leading a team of Backend Developers, inspiring them to innovate and ensuring the scalability, efficiency, and alignment with current technological trends of designed systems;
making key architectural decisions for the entire backend ecosystem, guiding the team in designing and implementing advanced microservices;
supervising the continuous technological development of the platform, focusing on process optimization and task automation to increase team efficiency and quality of work;
collaborating with product and business teams to understand user needs and adapt technological strategies accordingly;
promoting a technical culture based on continuous learning, skill improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team;
creating and maintaining a high standard of code quality and development processes, emphasising testing, code reviews, and automation;
ensuring that the team stays up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, motivating experimentation and innovation;
building and maintaining strong relationships with other technical leaders to ensure coherence and efficiency across the organisation.

✅ Must have:

minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership position, with documented experience in leading projects and engineering teams;
deep knowledge of modern technological stack, including Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Git, and advanced proficiency in TypeScript;
proven experience in designing, implementing, and scaling microservices, as well as managing complex IT systems;
familiarity with best practices in managing technological products, including Agile and Lean methodologies;
excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams, as well as effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation;
strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability, with experience in making difficult technical decisions;
flexibility and adaptation to rapidly changing technological environments, with openness to learning and implementing new technologies;
proficiency in Polish and English at a level enabling fluent communication in an international work environment.

salary depending on experience: 26 000 PLN - 32 000 PLN net on B2B contract;
no fixed working hours (except calls and stand-up);
